Have you ever wondered why you get MLS citations sometimes? Please know that we don’t go looking for them, so please don’t yell at us. We rely on Realtors to let us know about errors in Listings, because incorrect information doesn’t help anyone sell a house.
If you see something in a listing you can report it to the MLS and we will contact the list agent to try to get it corrected. We will never tell the listing Agent who reported them, however, we don’t allow targeting so we do keep an eye out for that. To report a problem, click on the red “Report Violation” button in the top right of the listing screen, just to the right of the Email and Print buttons. It looks like this:
If you report an error, please include a brief description of the Violation. Also please don’t use the Reporting system to try to contact the listing Agent, the error comes straight to our office and the listing Agent will never see it. It also makes it harder to find the actual errors. If you have a problem with one of your own listings, this is not the system to use. Your first step in correcting your own listing should be to call us. We are always happy to help if we can, and if we can’t help, we will always try to find someone who can help you.
