Appraisal Council
Purpose:
To identify and prioritize the member benefits to be provided by an ECAR Appraisal Council and provide an outline and methodology to accomplish them. The council is expected
1. to foster a positive environment for Realtor discussions regarding real property valuation;
2. to develop and leverage the collective business expertise of the membership and provide a mechanism to provide appraisal member input and initiatives to the Board of Directors;
3. to seek and recommend educational opportunities for appraisal members and those interested in real property valuation; and
4. to develop appraisal member benefits complementing those implemented at Florida Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
