Election Committee |

Subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, the President will appoint an Election Committee at least ninety (90) days before the Annual Meeting each year. The Committee shall consist of the Immediate Past President as chairman, the Chapter Chairman for every Chapter with a director position to be filled in the election, and two (2) other ECAR members who shall be appointed by the Immediate Past President with the approval of the Board of Directors. The Election Committee will verify the officer and director positions to be filled during the election and the terms for the positions as outline in the bylaws. The Election Committee will collect and review applications for officers and directors submitted by members at least sixty (60) days preceding the Annual Meeting each year. The Election Committee will determine each applicant's eligibility as a candidate and assure that each vacant position needing to be filled has at least one eligible candidate for each position by the deadline. The Election Committee will also certify the election results the first business day following the end of the election. |

The purpose of the Residential Property Management MLS Committee is to provide the property management members with an opportunity to meet and discuss issues and matters that affect their business and ability to do business. It provides a mechanism for input to ECAR regarding the development of programs, products and services as it relates to the property managers. This is also a vehicle to educate and recommend action on matters of legislation and regulation as they affect the property management industry, specifically FL Chapter 83 Part II. The RPM Committee also maintains the Residential Rental MLS Category. |
