ECAR Recommends Candidates for Election

The Emerald Coast Association of Realtors^® (ECAR) is proud to announce our recommendations in the upcoming elections.  The following candidates were the strongest on Realtor^® issues and were approved for recommendation by the ECAR Board of Directors:

Okaloosa County

• Ben Anderson, Tax Collector
• Wayne Harris, County Commissioner District 1
• Clint Aden, County Commissioner District 3
• Kelly Windes, County Commissioner District 5
• JB Whitten, School Board District 4

Walton County

• Alex Alford, Clerk of Courts
• W. Robert Nelson, County Commissioner District 1
• Bill Imfeld, County Commissioner District 3
• Cecilia Jones, County Commissioner District 5
• Trish Hutchison, Superintendent of Schools
• Timothy Yandell, School Board District 1

Candidates seeking election to various offices were interviewed during the selection process and answer questions related to real estate, economic development, and private property rights.  Interviews with candidates were designed primarily to provide ECAR with the information as to which of the candidates seeking election were best qualified for the post.  Recommendations by the screening panel were forwarded to the ECAR Board of Directors for final approval.
