Deepest Sympathies: James McCarthy

Our deepest sympathies the family and friends of James (Jim) McCarthy, who recently passed away. Jim was a Broker, Real Estate Instructor and Realtor with ECAR from 1995 until 2007 when he retired from Rainewhite Realty. Below is an excerpt from the obituary in the NWFDaily News.

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father, Col. James Francis McCarthy Sr., on July 15, 2012.

Jim is survived by his wife, Jean. Jim was preceded in death by Peg, his wife of 53 years; and their son, Timothy. Peg and he are also survived by children, Michael and wife, Paula, James and wife, Chery, Daniel, Thomas and wife, Patty, and Kathleen and husband, Scott.

A viewing will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road N.E., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., on Thursday, July 19, from 5 to 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 100 Francis St., Mary Esther, Fla., at 10 a.m. Friday, July 20. Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C. at a later date.
