Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS® Welcomes New Association Executive, Katie Fletcher

Apr 15, 2025

The Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce Katie Fletcher as our new Association Executive. With a proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and innovation, Katie brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to ECAR at an exciting time in our association’s growth.

Katie joins us from Sierra Nevada REALTORS® in Reno, Nevada, where she spent over 6 years guiding the organization through transformative changes—including a full restructure, rebrand, and the sale of their longtime association building. Her leadership through legal challenges and organizational transitions earned her the respect of members and colleagues across the region. A proud holder of the RCE (REALTOR® Association Certified Executive) designation, Katie also serves as Vice Chair of the NAR Communications Directors Committee and Member-at-Large on the NAR Consumer Communications Committee.

Katie’s background in retail management—over 25 years of it, much of it in new business development—has shaped her ability to step into complex situations, assess needs quickly, and lead teams toward long-term success. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and her commitment to building cultures that empower others, foster innovation, and create lasting impact.

“I believe that leadership is about guiding others toward a vision that inspires growth, community impact, and a lasting legacy,” Katie shared. “This journey isn’t about reaching a finish line; it’s about evolving with purpose, contributing to a greater good, and inspiring future generations. I am committed to leading ECAR with strategic vision, integrity, and influence—ensuring our community thrives today and continues to inspire tomorrow.”

Katie’s personal mission aligns seamlessly with ECAR’s commitment to serving as a trusted resource for our members. She believes in empowering REALTORS® to confidently serve their communities through strong education, advocacy, and member services. Her vision is to further elevate ECAR’s reputation, helping us continue to lead with integrity while advocating for property rights and professional excellence.

Originally from Indiana, Katie is a graduate of Indiana University and a lifelong learner who finds inspiration in books, music, art, and the outdoors. When she’s not working, she enjoys exploring nature trails with her energetic Border Collie, Jackson Pollock—named after the painter, not the fish.

Please join us in giving Katie Fletcher a warm welcome to the Emerald Coast! Her passion for service and strategic leadership are a perfect match for ECAR’s mission and strategic plan, and we look forward to the exciting journey ahead.
